When you come in for your initial consultation, you will be talking to a highly experienced surgeon, from the start. A knowledgeable and approachable expert who will take the time to listen sympathetically to you, and offer you the best advice.

The SurgiCare experience doesn’t end there – we pride ourselves on providing an unrivalled before and after care service and you will be invited to a review with your surgeon, at regular intervals following your procedure.

After your operation, you’ll see your surgeon who will discharge you if you are sufficiently recovered from the procedure, to return home.

You may be provided with garments or medication which is necessary to aid your ongoing recovery and results from the procedure you have undertaken.

Each procedure is different and so you’ll need to talk to your Surgeon to find out exactly what before and aftercare you will recieve.

You should already be aware of what you can and can’t do on your return home, this will include period of time required to convalesce (time off work) or timescale for returning to general activities, exercise etc.

You will also be given a contact telephone number for our 24 hour nursing hotline, so if you have any worries or concerns regarding your recovery, you can call and speak to experienced and trained nursing staff.
