George Hamlyn Williams
I graduated from the University of Surrey in June 2008 with a 2-1 in Dietetics & Nutrition subsequently registered with the Health Professions Council in August 2008. I am a full member of the British Dietetic Association, one of its subgroups Dietitians in Obesity Management UK (DOMUK) and an affiliate member of the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMSS).
I trained at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust and at the NHS John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. I gained experience in a wide range of dietetics, including nutrition support, gastrointestinal disease, oncology, weight management, dyslipidaemia, diabetes and allergy.
I commenced my first full-time position in August 2008 as a Specialist Bariatric dietitian and have never looked back! I now have over 3 years experience in the dietary management of Bariatric Surgery patients and am passionate about providing a professional and friendly service to all of our patients.
