Mr Pratik Shah

Pratik Shah has been a Gynaecology and Obstetrics doctor for more than 25 years. He qualified from St George's Medical School and then he trained in a number of London teaching hospitals, including Charing Cross, Westminster and St Mary's Hospitals, Guys and St Thomas Hospitals.

His first role as Gynaecology and Obstetrics Consultant was with Mayday University Hospital in Croydon in 1999. Then the attraction of returning back to where he was brought up in Stanmore, led him to move to Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust, where he worked as Clinical Director for Womens Services for almost three years.

His particular interests are minimal access (keyhole) and vaginal surgery, but also outpatient diagnostics including hysteroscopy and ultrasound.

Mr Pratik Shah is a member of the SurgiCare Cosmetic Surgery Team, specialising in labial surgery and reconstructive vaginal surgery.
