When I first went to SurgiCare for a consultation, I thought I’d need a facelift. The next day my skin started to feel tight, like I was wearing a facemask, then it began to crack and peel away but I wasn’t allowed to pick it off, I just had to keep putting Vaseline on. I stayed at my daughter’s so nobody saw me with bits of skin hanging off my face. It wasn’t pretty, but I could tell straight away the deep smoker’s lines around my mouth had gone. The Botox and fillers were easy after the peel; they just smoothed out my forehead and nose-to-mouth lines and plumped my lips.
