Why should I trust you with my body?

How do I know I’m a good candidate for the chosen procedure?

By talking it over with one of our surgeons. He or she will know what’s possible and what’s not. It’s in our interests to be realistic with you.

What about risks?

Your surgeon will discuss and be honest with you about any risks or side effects during your consultation. Working in conjunction with your GP (who can provide your medical history) we will be able to make a comprehensive risk assessment.

When can I get back to normality?

This varies according to the procedure. We will advise you much time you should take off work and what to avoid. As with any medical procedure you will need to rest and listen to your body. But don’t worry unduly - we’ll give you a list of Dos and Don’ts.

What about aftercare?

The SurgiCare approach is based on clinical excellence before, during and after your procedure. You’ll be made fully aware of what to expect in terms of improvements and possible pain during the recovery period. Where appropriate, you will be invited to a review with your surgeon at regular intervals afterwards.
