Your Cosmetic Surgery
You can book for your cosmetic surgery on the day of your consultation, or alternatively you can go home to think about the procedure and call back at a later day.
Once you have booked your cosmetic surgery procedure you will be sent a letter welcoming you to SurgiCare and confirming the date of surgery, a letter will then be sent approximately one week prior to the procedure date, confirming specific details relating to your admission.
You will also receive the Do's and Don’ts prior to your cometic surgery procedure, along with specific discharge information. Once your cosmetic surgery procedure is booked, we normally like to write to your GP to advise of your forthcoming surgery. However, this is subject to your consent.
If at any stage, you wish to have an aspect of your cosmetic surgery clarified or have questions about after care or any other area of concern, then you can simply call your Patient Co-ordinator, who will be able to assist you.
What will happen on the day of your cosmetic surgery procedure will be explained to you, when you are admitted to the hospital. However, a lot of this detail will have been discussed at your initial enquiry, consultation or when booking your surgery.
How long you stay with us will depend on your particular cosmetic surgery and you will be advised of this, at your consultation.
Normally you will be asked to come into hospital on the morning of your procedure.
At the hospital you’ll meet a range of staff, from receptionists to housekeeping to trained and experienced nursing and ancillary staff. They are all there to support and look after you during your stay with SurgiCare.
