Ian first started to think about contacting SurgiCare, after seeing our TV programme Purely Cosmetic.

He had started to notice lines between the eyes and on his forehead and was interested in trying treatments which could help the appearance of these lines and wrinkles.

A few close friends had had botox TM and had found it to work for them.

Ian said “I rang and booked a consultation, a chat basically to look at what I could have done. The Doctor spoke to me in a very friendly, straight forward way and talked through the options available to me. The Doctor explained everything, no question was left unanswered, which was great. The Doctor highlighted that botox is a brand name for a substance called botulinum toxin, which is used in other similar muscle relaxing treatments, and that this type of treatment would give me the results I wanted.

After my consultation, I was then able to have the treatment itself. It was all over really quickly, the injections just felt like slight scratches.

I was put at ease and totally informed throughout, as the Doctor told me what he was doing, at every stage”.

Ian continued “The Doctor said that I needed to keep my head upright for approx. 4 hours and that I should start to see results within 24-48 hours. It was amazing, I could actually see it working. The Doctor also said that it was better to put too little treatment into my skin, rather than too much, as it is easier to add than remove! They offered me a free top up, should I feel that I was still able to see my lines.. I am not a fan of hospitals, but SurgiCare gave me just what I wanted, within a relaxed atmosphere.

I now fel so much more confidence within myself, a lot more outgoing. I rave about the treatment so much and have the utmost confidence in SurgiCare, that I even introduced my 52 year old mother to it. She haves needles but she has had several treatments now and is even considering dermal fillers”.
