What will I receive?

Private Consultation

You will recieve ano obligation private consultation with a specialist NHS Consultant Bariatric surgeon, a registered dietitian and a nurse. During your consultation you will receive advice on which type of procedure is best for you, the type of results you can achieve, a pre and post operative diet as well as a comprehensive medical assessment to assess your suitability for surgery..

The consultation is your opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have about obesity surgery with a team of supportive and knowledgeable medical professionals, who will be with you every step of the way. During your consultation with one of our weight loss surgeons you will be able to discuss which method of weight loss surgery will be best for you.

Your weight loss surgery costs will be dependant on which treatment you decide to go ahead with.

Buddying

If you want to speak to someone who has had weight loss surgery, gastric band or gastric bypass procedure we are able to put you in touch with past patients who are more than delighted to share their experiences with you.

The Operation

Gastric Band or Gastric Bypass operation with one or two night stay in one of our private hospitals.

Aftercare Package

Our extensive weight loss surgery aftercare package consists of:

• Monthly appointments with the dietician
• 3 Band adjustments under xray
• Blood tests
• Access to the specialist nurse
• 24 hour help line
• 1 2 1 consultations with the Dietitian

Aftercare Only

At SurgiCare we are happy to treat weight loss surgery patients who have had surgery elsewhere. We can tailor make an aftercare programme to suit your individual needs including band adjustments under xray, dietitian and fitness advisor support and a 24 hour advice line.
