Twin sisters spend £130,000 on cosmetic procedures to make them look more alike

Lucy and Anna DeCinque, 28, were born just one minute apart and they share everything in their life – a job, a car, a Facebook account and even their boyfriend.

But this level of closeness was not enough for Australian twins, who have now spent $240,000 (Australian dollars), or £130,000, on cosmetic surgery to erase any tiny differences between them that remain.

They have had identical procedures including lip fillers, breast implants and fake eyebrows and eyelashes. Only a small mole on Lucy’s cheek and a scar on Anna’s forehead separate the two.

The twins also undertake a joint extensive beauty regime to maintain their appearances. Once a week, Anna and Lucy have infrared saunas, Microdermabrasion treatment and skin peels. They also follow the same exercise routine and keep an identical diet.

“We like looking after ourselves, what girl doesn’t?”

The twins even job share a carers position and take home one salary between them. The money, which ends up in the same bag – carried by Lucy, goes towards the twins beauty regime.

The girls have been warned that their extreme closeness could lead to serious problems in the future, especially if one of them decides to get married and move away or if one of them dies, but the twins remain unfazed.

“We can’t imagine a day when we’re not in each others company. And, to be honest, I don’t think that would ever happen.”
